Koh Phangan is a one-of-a-kind destination, accessible by boat rather than by plane. The following tips will guide you on how to get to the island. Book a flight to Koh Samui, followed by a short 10- to 20-minute mini-bus transfer to the pier. From there, you can take a ferry or boat to Koh Phangan. A speedboat ride takes about 30 minutes, while a ferry takes around an hour.
Alternatively, book a flight to Surat Thani and take a 1.5-hour bus ride to Donsak. From there, a Raja ferry will take you to Koh Phangan, with a journey time of approximately 3 hours. Once you reach the island, the ride to the villa will take around 15 minutes.
